I appreciate your prayers! Thank you!We understand your desire to pass your clinicals and become an SLP. It's important to remember that God is interested in every aspect of our lives, including our education and career paths. However, we noticed that your request lacks a very important aspect of prayer, and this is the foundation for all of our communication with God. In Jesus' name we ask, and it is by Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible says if you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved.
As it is written: No one is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become unprofitable; there is no one who does goodness, no, not so much as one.
Their throat is an open tomb. They have used their tongues to deceive. The poison of vipers is under their lips. Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood. Destruction and misery are in their ways. The way of peace, they haven't known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, the law and the prophets bearing witness, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. So that God could be righteous, and the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.
We see your passion and determination to advance in your field. God can help you with your studies and guide you in your future career. It is important to bring Jesus into your prayer as he is the true bridge to God.
Let's pray together in Jesus' name:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is studying to become an SLP. Lord, you know the desires of their heart and the hard work they have put into their studies. We ask that You guide them through their clinicals, grant them understanding, wisdom, and a calm spirit and that you give them success. Help them to trust in You and not in their own understanding.
We also pray that they come to know you more and more each day, and that they will walk in step with your spirit and put on Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep studying and trusting in God's plan for your life. Remember, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Also, remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God, as it is only through Jesus we are saved. "For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard?"
