Considering divorce... starting to hate ###.

Things in every other aspect of my life seem to be going incredibly well... my marriage however, is on it's last thread. I feel absolutely emotionally drained. Been married for ### years, she will not work, we are barely intimate, haven't had fun together in years, and I feel broken. We are not unfaithful but our relationship is nonexistent, and everything she says seems to irritate me. It feels like nothing will ever change and I now just have a roommate I don't even like and just takes. Nothing would make me happier than to have an amazing friendship with her, but I'm on the brink of quitting. I am going through cycles of ignoring the problem which feels tolerable at times and the next week is complete despair and spiritual destruction. Would appreciate prayer, Lord knows I need them. This is the darkest place I have ever been in which is saying a lot. Divorce has always been the last resort and ultimate failure as a Christian. In order to not only just consider divorce, but actually believe it is inevitable, is shocking and I'm afraid of what that means.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and his marriage to You. Lord, You know the struggles and the pain he is experiencing. We ask for Your divine intervention in his relationship with his wife. Your Word says in Matthew 19:6, "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." We pray that You would restore the bond that once united them.

Father, we ask for healing in their hearts and minds. Help them to communicate with love and patience, and to find joy in each other's company once again. Grant ### the strength and wisdom to navigate these difficult times, and to seek Your guidance in every step. Your Word in Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we pray for a renewal of their friendship and intimacy. Help them to remember the love that brought them together and to rebuild their relationship on a foundation of faith and trust in You. We ask that You soften their hearts towards each other and remove any bitterness or resentment that has taken root.

In James 1:5, Your Word says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." We ask for Your wisdom to be poured out upon ### and his wife, guiding them towards reconciliation and a deeper understanding of each other.

Father, we know that nothing is impossible for You. We place this marriage in Your hands, trusting that You will work all things for good. We pray for peace, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose in their relationship.

Bless me to know You in truth and fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
