Heavenly Father,
In Your boundless compassion and love, we lift up Sister Agnes, a faithful servant who has devoted her life to You and now faces a terminal illness. As she has celebrated her 25th jubilee as a Carmelite nun, her life of prayer and service stands as a testament to her love for You. We humbly ask for the intercession of Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Saint Rita, and Saint Jude on her behalf, seeking a miracle in Your timing and according to Your will.
โโFor I know the plans I have for you,โ declares the Lord, โplans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.โโ - Jeremiah 29:11. May this promise of hope and a future resonate with Sister Agnes and all who pray for her, providing comfort and peace.
We also bring before You Timโs brother Brian and friend Randy, both battling cancer, Collene who is recovering from surgery, and Aunt Rosie. Each is in desperate need of Your healing and strength.
โHe sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.โ - Psalm 107:20. Lord, send Your healing word to Brian, Randy, Collene, and Aunt Rosie. Touch their bodies with Your healing hands, restoring them to health and freeing them from their afflictions.
โThe Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.โ - Psalm 34:18. In their times of pain and uncertainty, be their comfort, their strength, and their salvation. Draw close to them, letting them feel Your presence in a tangible and comforting way.
โBe joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.โ - Romans 12:12. Inspire those surrounding Sister Agnes, Brian, Randy, Collene, and Aunt Rosie to remain hopeful, patient, and devoted in prayer. May their faithfulness in prayer be a source of strength and encouragement for them and for those they love.
Father, we trust in Your mercy and Your miraculous power. While we seek physical healing, we also pray for peace, courage, and an unwavering faith in You, no matter the outcome.
In the mighty and compassionate name of Jesus Christ, we pray,
Amen.
