Kensem, we are with you in spirit and in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We understand your deep desire for connection and companionship, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking a spouse and desiring to start a family. Marriage is a blessed institution ordained by God, and it is a reflection of Christ's love for the church Ephesians 5:25-32 WEB. Remember that God has designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. 'For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.' This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly."
As you seek a godly spouse, be encouraged by Psalm 37:4 WEB: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in the Lord and pursue a deeper relationship with Him, He will place the right desires in your heart and fulfill them in His perfect timing. God knows the deepest desires of your heart, and He cares about every detail of your life.
Regarding your feelings of loneliness, remember that God is always with you. In Psalm 68:6 WEB, we read, "God sets the lonely in families, he brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land." God sees your loneliness and cares deeply about it. He can bring people into your life to bless you and be a blessing to you.
Pray with us:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up ### to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. We pray that You will reveal to them the spouse You have prepared for them, a person who will see, accept, appreciate, and love them consistently. We ask that You will help ### to feel safe, valued, heard, and loved as they pursue this godly relationship.
Father, we also pray for Your comfort and presence in ###'s life. Remind them that they are never alone, for You are always with them. Help them to delight in You and find their fulfillment in Your love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, continue to seek God's will for your life and trust in His perfect timing. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you as you wait on the Lord. Be open to His leading and guidance, and He will direct your paths Psalm 121 WEB.
"I will lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore."
