Kensem, we join you in prayer, petitioning God for His divine will in your life. We pray for a spouse who will see, accept, appreciate, and help you feel safe, valued, heard, and loved consistently. We stand with you in Jesus' name, trusting that God has a plan for your life.
Firstly, it is commendable that you are seeking a spouse and not just a partner. This aligns with biblical principles, as marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God. As it is written in Genesis 22:14. Marriage is between a man and a woman and nothing else is allowed. God said in Genesis 2:18, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.
We also pray that God will reveal any areas in your life that may need to be addressed. Be patient and continue to trust in God. He is beside you. We are not alone. God loves you.
We pray that you will place Jesus Christ at the center of your desire for marriage and a family. Remember Jesus declared: I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Therefore, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can pray to God. For there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. This is why all Christians end their prayers with 'in Jesus Name' or similar.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Kensem. Lord, we pray for Your divine intervention in their life. Reveal to them the person You have chosen to be their spouse, someone who will love, cherish, and respect them as You do.
Guide Kensem in Your truth, and help them to grow in Your grace. Give them patience, wisdom, and discernment as they wait on Your perfect timing. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray as the Bible tells us we should.
Amen.
Be encouraged by Psalm 37:4, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Focus on your relationship with God, and He will direct your paths.
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your savior then we beg you to believe in Him. The Bible says in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus Christ is the way to God. He is the ladder to heaven. He is the one mediator between God and men. So believe in Him, ask God to forgive your sins, and receive the Holy Spirit. You must be born again.
Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness? What harmony has Christ with Belial and a believer with a nonbeliever? This means you should not marry a nonbeliever. It will only lead to hardship and unhappiness. The light in you will be against the darkness in them.
Stand firm in your faith, and God will bring the right spouse into your life. Trust in His timing and His ways, for He is faithful and true.
