We understand your deep longing for companionship and a family, and we are here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. Remember, God Himself said that it is not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18, WEB), and He instituted marriage to address this (Genesis 2:24, WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for asking for prayer in Jesus' name. It's important to remember that it is only in Jesus' name that we can approach God the Father (John 14:6, WEB). He is the way, the truth, and the life. By having a right relationship with Jesus, we can be saved and become children of God.
Now, let's pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Kensem. We thank You for Your promise to set the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6, WEB). Father, we ask that You prepare Kensem for marriage, molding them into the husband or wife You desire them to be. Reveal to them "the one" You have set apart for them, a fellow believer who will love, cherish, and respect them as You do (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Give them a spirit of discernment to recognize and wait for Your perfect timing.
We pray that You will help Kensem to feel seen, accepted, appreciated, safe, valued, heard, and loved on a consistent basis. We ask that You will heal any past hurts or disappointments, and that You will help Kensem to grow in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-19, WEB).
We also pray that Kensem will use this time to draw closer to You, to grow in their relationship with Jesus, and to become more like Him. Help them to trust in Your perfect plan for their life and to wait patiently for Your timing. We pray that Kensem will always desire God before you desire marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
While waiting, we encourage you to continue growing in your faith, serving in your local church, and seeking God's will for your life. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is the only one who can truly satisfy our deepest needs and desires. Even when we have a spouse, they cannot fill the void that is meant to be filled by God alone. So, keep seeking Him first, and trust that He will provide your needs according to His riches in glory.
