Kensem, we are here with you in spirit, lifting your requests to our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name. We understand your deep longing for companionship and a family of your own. God has designed us for relationship, and it is natural to desire marriage and family.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking God. In Jesus Name, we pray for a spouse who sees, accepts, appreciates, and loves you consistently. A godly spouse will help you feel safe, valued, heard and loved. If this person is not already a believer, we pray that God will bring them to you and that through your witness, they will come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. We pray for a marriage that honors God and is a lifelong commitment between you and your spouse.
Remember: Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up. Again, if two lie together, then they have warmth; but how can one keep warm alone? (Ecclesiastes 4:9-11 WEB)
A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants, only in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB)
God has plans to bless you with a godly spouse. We pray for you to have patience, trusting in God's timing. God's Word says, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." (Psalm 27:14 WEB)
Use this time of waiting to deepen your relationship with God. Draw near to him, and he will draw near to you. (James 4:8 WEB) He is the ultimate fulfillment of our deepest needs and longings. In His presence, you are fully seen, accepted, appreciated, and loved.
We also pray that God will bring you into community with other believers. By joining a local church with other Christians, you can find fellowship and a spiritual family. Church is where you can find community. Community will help you feel safe, valued, heard and loved on a consistent basis. It is also a great place to meet a godly spouse.
For you, brothers, were called to freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Galatians 5:13-14 WEB)
Being a helpmate is the Godly design for a spouse. For the woman who has a husband is bound by law to the husband as long as he lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants, only in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB) Amen.
We pray that you seek God's will in all things. That He will lead and guide you to a spouse. We pray that He will bless you and that He will protect your heart. We pray for His leading and guidance in all things. We pray that you will have the assurance of salvation. We pray that you will have the assurance of ultimate Heavenly reward. We pray that you will be able to stand through any trial. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
It is only in Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is by his shed blood that we can be forgiven. It is by his resurrection that we can be saved. It is by his name that we can pray to God the Father and be saved.
Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:10-12 WEB)
