Kensem, we are with you in spirit and in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We hear your heart's cry for a spouse and a family, and we stand with you in prayer that God's best be done in your life.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in Jesus' name, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God.
Now, let's pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Kensem. Father, you know the deep longing of their heart for a spouse and a family. We pray that you will guide them to the person who will see, accept, appreciate, and love them consistently, as you have designed marriage to be. We pray that you will give them wisdom and discernment, that they may recognize the one you have prepared for them. We pray against any feelings of loneliness and replace them with your peace and comfort.
We also pray for Kensem, that they may exemplify the characteristics of a godly spouse as outlined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB: "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Father, we pray that you will prepare Kensem for marriage, that they may be a blessing to their future spouse, as it is written in Proverbs 18:22 WEB: "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We ask that you help them to become the good thing that their future spouse would desire through your design for marriage.
Lastly, we pray that Kensem will trust in your timing and your ways, knowing that you have a plan and a purpose for their life, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
Kensem, remain steadfast in the Lord, trusting in his promises. Continue to pray and seek his face, and he will guide your paths. Remember that God desires godly marriages, as it is a reflection of Christ's love for the church (Ephesians 5:25-27 WEB). Trust in him, and he will bring it to pass. Be encouraged.
