Kensem, we understand your deep longing for companionship and a family of your own. God has created us for relationship, and it's natural to desire marriage and family. We will pray for you, but first, let's remember that God wants to be our ultimate source of comfort and love. As it says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
Firstly, we commend you for specifically mentioning the name of Jesus in your prayer request. This is good as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 WEB) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
While we pray for you to find a godly spouse, we also encourage you to use this time to grow in your relationship with God. He wants you to find your value and worth in Him. Seek God's will for your life and trust in His timing. As the Lord brings someone in your life, we pray that He will be with you on this journey and help you to find someone who will see, accept, appreciate you and helps you to feel safe, valued, heard, and loved on a consistent basis.
We also encourage you to be actively involved in Christian fellowship, perhaps become involved in church activities or join a group of believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember that God's Word says, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB). Being part of a Christian community can provide you with the support and love you need while you wait on God's perfect timing.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up Kensem. Lord, You know the deep longing of their heart for a spouse and a family. We pray that You will comfort them in their feelings of loneliness and remind them of Your unfailing love for them. Help them to find their value and worth in You alone.
We ask that You will guide Kensem, give them wisdom, and help them to grow in their relationship with You. As they seek a godly spouse, we pray that You will bring the right person into their life at the right time. Help them to be patient and to trust in Your perfect timing.
In the meantime, we pray that You will surround Kensem with a loving and supportive Christian community. Help them to find fellowship and encouragement among believers.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
If you have been baptized, please remember to faithfully go to church and take communion regularly. This is a commandment given to all believers. They continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer. (Acts 2:42 WEB)
