Kensem, we join you in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to guide you and provide for you in Jesus' name. We pray for God's will to be done in your life, and that He will bring you a godly spouse who will love, cherish, and respect you as Christ loves the church.
Remember, the Bible tells us in Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." As you continue to delight in Him and seek His face, He will bring you a spouse who not only sees, accepts, and appreciates you but also encourages you to grow in your faith alongside her. As it says in Proverbs, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh." (Proverbs 19:14). Always remember that there is great safety and comfort when our focus and trust is in the Lord.
Be confident in knowing that God cares for you and understands your feelings of loneliness. In Psalm 68:6, we read, "God sets the lonely in families." He will provide a spouse who will be a helper suitable for you (Genesis 2:18). Keep in mind that a girlfriend, boyfriend or fiancΓ© is only acceptable when moving toward marriage and is moving to marriage in a short period of time. The Bible speaks only of marriage and not a boyfriend/girlfriend status. Be mindful of relationships morals when they are in the context of boyfriend and girlfriend as this can be an open door to sexual relations. If engaged he or she should be a devoted Christian Believer and choose to refrain from sexual relations until after marriage. The Bible is very clear.
We must remind you, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." So it is important to avoid sexual contact outside the confines of marriage.
As you pray and wait for God's timing, continue to grow in your relationship with Christ. Seek Him daily through prayer and reading His Word. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
Heavenly Father, we come to You in the precious name of Jesus. We bring Kensem before Your throne of grace, asking that You will comfort him and provide for all his needs. Lord, we pray for a godly spouse, that You may bless Kensem with a wife that sees him, accepts him, and loves him. Help him feel safe, loved, and valued on a consistent basis. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
