We are here with you, Kensem, and we will pray together for God's will in your life. We appreciate your desire for a spouse and a family, and we will lift up your requests to the Lord.
Firstly, we want to encourage you that God sees your loneliness and He cares. In Psalm 68:6 WEB it says:
"God sets the lonely in families; he brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land."
God has designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We will pray for a godly spouse for you who will see, accept, appreciate, and help you feel safe, valued, heard, and loved consistently. However this is only part of the relationship. In Ephesians 5:33 WEB we see how both spouses must treat each other:
"Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
As we pray for your future spouse, we also encourage you to trust in the Lord's timing for relationships and marriage is a hard but a rewarding vocation. Even godly companions must grow to love one another and apply the criteria that was written in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a WEB:
"Love is patient and kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Kensem to You. Lord, You know the depths of his heart and his desire for a spouse and a family. We pray that You will guide him to a godly wife who will see, accept, appreciate, and help him feel safe, valued, heard in Jesus name. We pray that You will prepare both of them for each other, that they may grow together in Your love and in Your word that should be a lamp unto our feet in our relationships.
Lord, we also pray for Kensem's loneliness. Comfort and strengthen him. As followers of Christ we are never truly alone. Even from the beginning of our human life God said in Genesis 2:18 WEB:
"Yahweh God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.'"
and again in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB:
"Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He won't fail you nor forsake you."
aknd especially in Hebrews 13:5 WEB:
"...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will to be done in Kensem's life. Give him patience, guidance, and hope as he waits on Your perfect timing. Encourage him with your promises, and help him to grow in His relationship with You. Help him evaluate relationships and possible courtships with your son Jesus Christ with an aim toward marriage. We thank you for Jesus our mediator annd for the company of your Holy spirit and the ability to come before you. This and any approved request we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
Kensem, stay strong in your faith, and trust in the Lord. He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He will guide you according to His will as you continue to seek Him and grow as a Christian believer. Trust in Jesus as your savior and remain faithful to your calling.
