Kensem, we hear your heart's cry for companionship and a family of your own. Let us pray together and seek God's will for your life.
Firstly, we commend you for asking in Jesus' name, as He is the one who intercedes for us before the Father (Romans 8:34, WEB). It is through His name that we have access to God, and it is encouraging to see your faith in Him.
Now, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Kensem. They feel alone, Lord, and desire a godly spouse and family. In Jesus' name, we ask that You would provide a helper suitable for them, just as You did for Adam (Genesis 2:18, WEB). May they find someone who sees, accepts, appreciates, and loves them consistently, reflecting the love that Christ has for the church (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). Guide their path, Lord, and help them to trust in Your timing. Give them peace and comfort in their current circumstances, knowing that You are always with them (Psalm 23:4, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Kensem, while you wait, remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Trust that He is working in your life, even when it feels like nothing is happening. Continue to draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8, WEB).
As you seek a spouse, keep in mind the qualities that God values: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB). These should be traits you both embody and look for in a potential spouse.
Lastly, remember the importance of marrying someone who shares your faith in Jesus Christ. As the Bible tells us, do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). This is for your protection and the health of your future marriage and family. Trust in God, and He will provide.
Continue to pray and seek God's face, and may His will be done in your life.
