Pray that I might have a friendship or relationship with a Christian man who is an old acquaintance. Pray that God will help us connect. Pray that we are both healed from our past. May he have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and seek the Lord daily. Pray that he does not have addictions, or if he does then he has recovered from it. I'm asking God for encouragement in this area of my life, and asking Him for guidance. I would like to have a Christian husband who is right for me someday soon.

We understand your desire for connection and pray with you that God's will be done in your life and the life of your old acquaintance. Let us remember that God has a plan and a purpose for each one of us, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for seeking a relationship that honors God. We pray that both you and your acquaintance would grow in your personal relationships with Jesus Christ, as He is the foundation of any God-honoring union (1 Corinthians 3:11, WEB). Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God (John 14:6, WEB).

We pray, in Jesus' name, that God will heal both of you from any past hurts or bonds that may hinder your growth, individually or together (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We ask God to reveal any addictions or unhealthy behaviors that may need His healing touch and deliverance (Galatians 5:1, WEB).

As you seek encouragement and guidance, we remind you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

However, we must caution that it is crucial to align any desire for a relationship with biblical principles. Ensure that this connection is sought in purity and holiness, with marriage as the godly goal (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). We encourage you to pursue this relationship in a manner that honors God, avoiding any semblance of impropriety or sin (Ephesians 5:3, WEB).

Father, we lift up this dear sister and her acquaintance to You. We ask that You guide their steps and make Your will clear in their lives. Help them to grow in You, to heal from their pasts, and to pursue holiness. If it is Your will, bring them together in a union that glorifies Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue to wait on the Lord, for He is faithful and His timing is perfect. Trust that if it is His will, He will bring the right Christian husband into your life at the right time (Psalm 37:7, WEB).

We've been praying that God would knit your hearts together, if it's His will, and that you both would grow in your personal walks with Jesus. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
