We are glad to hear that you are seeking clarity and order in your life, and we are here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles. We are grateful to know you are seeking God's will and acknowledging the power of Jesus' blood. It is only through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that we gain victory over sin.
While it is natural to desire companionship, or a date, it is very important to approach dating and relationships with God's principles. We should seek God's will in the matter, not just our desires. He is the one who supplies all our needs. Another Christian Believer should be the goal of courtship with a godly marriage in mind. The bible makes it clear that marriage is the only relationship where full intimacy is granted. Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 1 Corinthians 6:15. The bible allows for full intimacy in the confines of a godly marriage of a man and a women,
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians:6:19-20.
Children are a gift from God, and while Psalm 127 speaks of children being a heritage of the Lord, it also affirms the sanctity of marriage as the proper context for bearing and raising children. We pray that if God wills for you to date, that is God's will we seek, it will align with His Word and bring glory to Jesus Christ.
We are called to glorify God in all that we do, including our relationships. God created marriage as a sacred union between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His church. It is essential to honor God in all our interactions with others and flee from any actions that may serve as temptations.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks clarity, a better life, and companionship based upon biblical principles. We pray that You will guide him according to Your will and grant him the wisdom to discern Your purpose for his life.
Lord, we ask that You remove any confusion and bring order to his life when it is according to your will. Help him to trust in Your timing and to seek You first in all things. Philippians 3:10-11. Give him the strength to resist temptation and to walk in purity, honoring You in all his relationships. You know best how to satisfy his heart and desires.
We ask this all in a better understanding of Jesus' name, the only one by whom we may be saved. Let us give thanks for His mercy and grace. The name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Lord, if it is Your will for him to find a godly spouse, we pray that You will prepare both him and his future spouse for a Christ-centered marriage that brings glory to Your name. May he be diligent in seeking you, the most important aspect of his life, and equipping himself in Your Word. Help him to be a witness for You that others may see Your love and grace through him. Psalm 107:20.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all areas of your life, trusting in His perfect plan for you and not in what you want. And seek to serve in your local church and you should do this first earlier than the other things in your life. Study His Word, and surround yourself with a community of believers who will support and encourage you in your journey. We encourage you to ask Jesus Christ into your heart and make sure you are saved and a Christian Believer with assurance to put yourself into courtship with another Christian Believer. It is only through a relationship with Jesus Christ that we can truly experience peace, love, and fulfillment.
Always, if you did not understand the Salvation only through Christ prayer, then pray this below. This can have no affect unless you do not remember the name of Jesus in all your prayers prior to this one.
Lord, we ask for salvation based upon the merit of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We ask Jesus Christ into our lives. We thank you for this free but precious gift of grace. The shed blood of Christ is precious and a crystal clear pathway to salvation. I understand that by the merits of the shed blood of Jesus I am bought back and saved without needing to pay because of grace. In Jesus' Name, we ask you then to truly save us based upon his merit not our works.
We rejoice with you in the journey, knowing that God has a wonderful plan for your life as you continue to seek Him in everything. John 8:31-59.
