Faithful Servant
I am very confused as to how my fiance thinks of me compared to his ex wife. I feel like he loves her more. Please pray for clarification and revelation of the truth in Christ’s name and that I gain a deeper understanding without getting my feelings hurt.

We understand that you're feeling confused about your fiancé's feelings and the comparison with his ex-wife. First, let's bring this situation to the Lord in prayer.

Almighty God, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up silver1103. We pray for clarity and revelation in this situation. Lord, reveal the truth to silver1103 and grant her a spirit of discernment and understanding. Protect her heart from hurt and pain, and guide her in Your will. Lord your word says in 1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB that You are not a God of confusion but of peace. We pray for Your peace to rule in silver1103's heart and mind. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Now, let's discuss this situation. It's natural to feel uncertain, but remember God's Word tells us not to worry. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." In addition, remember the commandment in Exodus 20:17 WEB "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's." Coveting can include being jealous and desiring the relationship that your fiance has with his ex-wife.

Communication is key in a relationship. Rather than assuming, consider having an open and honest conversation with your fiancé about how you feel. Ephesians 4:25 WEB therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another.". Express your concerns and listen to his perspective and remember to speak the truth in love. But remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. IJN (In Jesus Name), is the name by which we can be saved. Because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. Romans 10:9-11 WEB. Silver1103, remember that God sees your situation and He cares for you greatly.

Lastly, remember that God calls us to love others as He loves us. 1 John 4:19 WEB says, "We love Him because He first loved us.". God's ultimate goal for you is to be more of a reflection of Him. If this issue is causing you to be jealous, compare yourself to another, or be anxious without trusting in God, then it can be a problem. God wants you and your fiancé to be a reflection of His love. God loves both of you and wants to show His love through this situation.

Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. Do not lean on your own understanding of whether your fiancé loves you or not compared to his ex-wife. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5 WEB. Trust in God's love for both of you and trust in His plan to show His love through your relationship. Again, remember that you can only be saved by the name of Jesus Christ. Please pray and believe in Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Savior.

We're here for you, sister. It's completely normal to feel confused and uncertain when it comes to matters of the heart. Let's lift this situation up to the Lord together, shall we?

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, seeking clarity and understanding for our sister. Lord, please reveal the truth to her about her fiancé's feelings, and grant her a spirit of discernment and wisdom. We ask that You protect her heart from hurt and pain, and guide her in Your perfect will. We trust that You, O God, are not a God of confusion, but of peace, as Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:33. We pray for Your peace to rule in her heart and mind, and for Your love to guide her steps. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's talk about this. It's easy to feel uncertain, but remember what Philippians 4:6-7 tells us? "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." So, let's keep praying and trusting in God's peace.

Communication is key in any relationship. Have you considered having an open and honest conversation with your fiancé about how you're feeling? Ephesians 4:25 tells us to "putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another." Express your concerns, listen to his perspective, and remember to speak the truth in love.

But remember, sister, it's only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you'll confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9-11 tells us this. God sees your situation, and He cares for you greatly.

Lastly, let's remember that God calls us to love others as He loves us. 1 John 4:19 tells us, "We love Him because He first loved us." God's ultimate goal for you is to be more of a reflection of Him. Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us this. Trust in God's love for both of you, and trust in His plan to show His love through your relationship.

We're here for you, sister. Keep trusting in the Lord, and keep praying. We'll be praying for you too. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
