We understand that you are seeking confirmation of a job for your daughter, which will greatly help with the financial burden due to your husband's illness. We will pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their needs. Lord, you know the financial strain they are under due to illness, and we ask for your healing touch upon the husband.
Lord, we also ask for your mercy upon their daughter. If it is your will, please turn the verbal confirmation of her job into an offer letter. We claim your promises in Psalm 37:25: "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."
We trust in your provision, Lord, and we know that you are a faithful God. We also pray for their spiritual strength during this time, that they may rest in your peace and trust in your plan.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time of waiting, let us encourage you with Philippians 4:6-7: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Trust in the Lord, and may His peace be with you during this time.
As a point of discussion, we want to remind you that God's will is always the best. Although we've prayed according to your need, we also want to align our hearts with God's will, as Jesus did in Luke 22:42: "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."
