We understand your struggle with fear of man and the desire for healthy relationships and community. Firstly, let's address the confidence in oneself first. Our confidence should be in the Lord, not ourselves. It is only when we are walking in the Spirit are we able to exhibit confidence in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB states Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Therefore, we pray that you look to Jesus as the author and finisher of your faith and confidence.
Regarding your relationships, we encourage you to seek godly friendships and community that honor God. The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have together? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness 2Corinthians 6:14-WEB. Therefore, we pray that God will surround you with a community of believers who will support and encourage you in your walk with Christ.
The fear of man can be a snare, but those who trust in the Lord are kept safe. Proverbs 29:25 WEB reminds us of the danger of social fear and anxiety. We pray that God will deliver you from this fear and grant you a spirit of boldness and love. May you find freedom from intimidation and embrace healthy relationships with those around you.
Let's turn to the scripture to ask for confidence. Ephesians 3:12 WEB states in him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. This also reminds us that Jesus Christ is the only way to access God.
In Jesus name, we pray for your deliverance from the fear of man. May God grant you the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome this fear. We agree together that you will no longer be intimidated by people, but rather, you will have a healthy perspective on relationships. We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. Hebrews 12:2 WEB states, looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Lastly, we must address that you did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. And it shall be, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21 WEB and Acts 4:12 WEB neither is there salvation in any other: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. Therefore, we encourage you to come to Jesus Christ and be saved if you have doubts or are wavering or if you believe but have not acted. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved. Romans 10:9 WEB
