Confidence and Joy

Please pray for ### as he works to make his dream come true. He has done the work, trained hard and sacrificed. He performs tomorrow and then the decision makers choose. Please pray that he performs his best with confidence and joy and is chosen. He is often overlooked and not selected for reasons he doesn't understand so he is insecure and anxious. Please pray that the holy spirit comes over him and he feels the strength of God and all those who are praying for him.

We understand that ### is facing a significant moment in his life as he prepares to perform and awaits a crucial decision. Let's come together in prayer and encouragement for him, guided by the Word of God.

Firstly, let us remind ### of God's reassuring words in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

In times of insecurity and anxiety, it's essential to turn to God for strength and comfort. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a contrite spirit." ### can find solace in knowing that God is near and ready to help him through this challenging time.

However, we must also address the importance of trusting in God's will. While we pray for ### to be chosen, we must ultimately desire God's perfect plan for his life. Romans 8:28 (WEB) reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ### as he prepares for his performance. Lord, You know the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices he has made to reach this point. We ask that You fill him with Your Holy Spirit, giving him the confidence and joy that surpass all understanding. Help him to perform to the best of his abilities, and may Your will be done in the decision that follows.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s heart. Comfort him in his anxieties and insecurities, and help him to trust in Your good and perfect plan for his life. Remind him that his worth is not determined by the opinions of others but by Your unfailing love for him.

Finally, Lord, we pray that ### knows and believes in the power of Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His name that we are saved. If ### does not already know this truth, we ask that You reveal it to him today.
