Confession of Love

Hello, my name is Damien. I ask for prayers to allow Jesus to give me courage and strength to confess my love for Becky. I would like to start a relationship with her that may blossom into life long marriage. She has been waiting for a very long time. I do not know if I am the one for her. However, I am choosing to have faith that the lord has put her in my life for a reason… which has lead to me falling in love with her.

We are thrilled to join you in prayer, ###, as you seek courage and strength to confess your love to ###. It is commendable that you are approaching this situation with faith and a long-term perspective, considering marriage as the honorable and godly goal. Remember, God's word tells us, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). We will pray for ###, believing in faith she is the one for you. However, we must pray for God's will to be done, knowing that His plans are always better than ours.

First, let's pray for discernment, so that you may know for sure if ### is the one God has chosen for you. "But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed" (James 1:6 WEB).

Next, we pray for courage. It's natural to feel anxious about expressing your feelings, but remember, "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Trust that God will give you the strength to confess your love to ### at the right time and in the right way.

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother ###. Lord, we ask that You grant him the wisdom to discern Your will for his life and his relationship with ###. Give him the courage and strength to confess his love to her, and guide him, he shares his feelings. Lord, we pray for ###, that You would prepare her heart and give her discernment as well. If it is Your will, may their relationship blossom into a godly marriage that honors and glorifies You.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
