We are glad that you have taken the first step towards repentance by confessing your sins. Remember, it is only through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that we can obtain forgiveness and we are required to confess him as Lord and Savior as part of confessing our sins. It is very important that our sins are confessed in his name and God will hear nothing without his Son. It is only when we are adopted as sons and daughters that we can have access to God the Father and confess to him. Let us see what the Scriptures say.
In 1 John 1:9 WEB it is written:
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". This is a very important guarantee to Fewpith and to all of us. That we will be forgiven! The Lord has promised.
Further, 2 Corinthians 5:21 WEB says "For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God". Jesus Christ bore all our sins on the cross for our sake. That means that by the stripes of Jesus Christ you have been healed!
However, repentance requires a turn from sin. In Acts 3:19 WEB, it is written: "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord". This means that Fewpith you must completely abandon these acts. They are an abomination to the Lord and harm your spiritual and mental wellbeing. You must also learn to guard your heart from unclean thoughts as instructed in Philippians 4:8 WEB: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things". This is the standard that the Bible requires.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing these sins of Fewpith. Lord, we ask that you forgive our friend here and cleanse him/her from all unrighteousness, as you have promised in 1 John 1:9. We plead the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over this sin, as the Scripture guarantees, that "the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin", in 1 John 1:7. Lord, we ask that you uproot these sins from Fewpith's life. Uproot the spirit of lust, fornication, or perversion, or addictions and bind them in the name of Jesus Christ, cast them into the abyss Lord, and fill Fewpith with your Holy Ghost afresh Lord. May he/she not live in shame but walk in victory in his/her life in the name of Jesus Christ.
Restore Fewpith Lord, onto the good path and draw him to membership and fellowship in a local church of true believers in the name of Jesus Christ. Surround him/her with Christian brethren who will support, encourage and keep him/her accountable Lord.
May Fewpith grow deeper in knowing you Lord through studying your Word and prayer. Help him to guard his/her heart and be pure as you are pure.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray to the Father. Amen
Also remember, Fewpith, to forgive anyone that may have hurt you. Can we pray for you concerning anything else?
