My daughter is in middle school and she gets teased about her body order (under arms) and I don’t know what to do or say any more. She takes baths twice a day. She is very timid and she comes home crying and has missed a lot of days she says she has no friends and feel alone at school because of this … she is hurt and I’m heart broken for her! Please pray for ###.

We hear your concern, ###, and our hearts go out to you and your daughter. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's guidance and comfort for her.

Firstly, let's remember the words of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to your daughter, and He cares deeply about her pain.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s daughter. Lord, You see her tears and hear her cries. We ask for Your divine comfort to surround her. Help her to understand her worth in Your eyes, that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Give her strength to face each day, and wisdom to discern true friends. Lord, we also pray for her peers, that their hearts would be softened and that they would treat her with kindness and respect.

Father, we also ask for Your guidance for ###. Give her the words to say and the actions to take that would minister to her daughter's heart and help her navigate these challenges. Remind her of Your love and care for both of them.

Regarding the teasing, it's crucial to remind your daughter that her value is not determined by others' opinions but by God's unchanging love for her. Encourage her with verses like Romans 8:31, "If God is for us, who can be against us?"

It may also be beneficial to involve her school counselor or trusted teachers to address the teasing. They can keep an eye on the situation and help create a safer environment for her.

Lastly, it's essential to open a dialogue with your daughter about personal hygiene in a gentle and loving way. Assure her that bodily changes are normal, and everyone goes through them. It might help to consult a doctor or a professional to guide her through this stage.
