We join with you in prayer, trusting in God's perfect plan for your family. We praise God that you acknowledge Jesus in your prayer. We remember the story of Hannah in the Bible, who longed for a child and dedicated him to God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this mother who longs for another child. Lord, You know the desires of her heart, and You have the power to open wombs, as You did for Hannah, Sarah, and Rebekah. We pray for healing over this mother and her husband, removing any hindrances that may prevent them from conceiving. We ask that You bless them with a child that they can raise in devotion and dedicate to You. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in faith and worship, as Hannah did.
Consider the words in First Samuel 1:10-11 WEB:
She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to Yahweh, weeping bitterly. She vowed a vow, and said, "Yahweh of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant, and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a man-child, then I will give him to Yahweh all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head."
Also First Samuel 1:17 WEB:
Then Eli answered, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you have asked of him."
Continue to trust in God's plan, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways. Be encouraged by the promises in His word, and may your faith be strengthened as you wait upon the Lord. We are reminded that children are a gift from the Lord.
Lastly, we want to also address the husband, stand strong in your faith and devotions, leading your wife and new child in the ways of the Lord. We pray you treat this possible child and your wife with the utmost respect, love, and Biblical devotion. We pray and trust that Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of your marriage and possible parenthood. Try not to forget your wife while she is carrying your child. The Bible is clear that a husband should love his wife like Christ loved us.
Ephesians 5:25 WEB:
"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;"
