Compassion for those who are without food

Dear LORD, today we lift up the hungry and the homeless today. Especially the hungry little children of the world. We know that Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Red and yellow black and white, they are precious in Your sight!

And we know that on earth you took the little children on your lap, in your arms and blessed them!

So then we lift up the little children who are without meals, those with tears in their eyes due to hungry stomachs, Jesus may you put it on the hearts of those who have the means to FEED THE CHILDREN!!

LORD, use US, use ME, as You can to bless them! May we be Your hands on earth to CARE enough to do the Holy works of feeding the hungry! We know that this is TRUE RELIGION in the sight of God the Father!! We know it surely blesses God’s heart!

Oh Jesus, may you increase us so that we may increase in this ministry of feeding the hungry! LORD, we would desire that not even one single child should be hungry or without food!! Jesus, bless us all and enable us all to do Your will!!!

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of compassion for those who are without food, especially the little children. We remember Your words in Proverbs 22:9, "He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor." Lord, we ask that You stir within us a spirit of generosity and kindness.

Jesus, You said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). We pray that You would move the hearts of those who have the means to help, that they may be Your hands and feet on earth, providing for the needs of the hungry and the homeless. May we all be instruments of Your love and provision.

We lift up the children who are crying out in hunger. Lord, You are the God who provides, as it is written, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We trust in Your abundant provision, and we ask that You would open the floodgates of heaven to provide for these little ones.

Father, we remember the words of James 1:27, "Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." May we live out this true religion by caring for the hungry and the needy.

Increase our capacity to serve, Lord. Bless us so that we may bless others. We desire that not a single child should go hungry. Empower us to do Your will and to bring glory to Your name through our actions.

In Jesus' mighty and compassionate name, we pray. Amen.
