We join with you, ###, in committing this day to God, acknowledging His sovereignty over all things. It is wonderful that you have offered this day to God and acknowledged His power in Jesus' name. We can find evidence of your appropriate commitment throughout scripture. For the LORD God is a sun and shield. He gives grace and glory. Yahweh will withhold no good thing from those who walk blamelessly. LORD of Armies, blessed is the man who trusts in you. Psalm 84:11-12 (WEB) God wants us to trust Him and receive His blessings daily. It is wonderful that you are not only praying for your needs but desiring needed love and a moral life. This aligns well with Scripture, as we are instructed: Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Philippians 4:8 (WEB) This is an encouragement to think on good things but should also promote good moral behavior.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up ###, their family, and well-wishers. We commit this day into Your loving hands, trusting in Your guidance and protection. As they go out and come in, be their shield and their sun Psalm 84:11-12 (WEB). Provide for their daily needs, as You have promised in Your word: Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB). Help ### to live a moral life, rooted in Your love. Let every act of love be sincere and have the love of Christ to motivate whatever loving action and kindness is done Eph 4: 32-5:2 (WEB). May ### be a testament of Your grace and also receive unmerited favor, showing the love of Christ to all they encounter. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
