We are deeply concerned and moved by your plight, ###, and we join you in fervent prayer for your son ###. Let us come together in the name of Jesus and agree for ###'s deliverance and restoration.
Firstly, we know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to claim your mercy and grace over ###. Lord, you know the depth of his despair, and you see his struggle. We ask that you comfort him, Lord, as only you can. We rebuke the spirit of depression that is tormenting him, and we command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. Fill ### with your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let your joy be his strength (Nehemiah 8:10)."
We also pray for God's guidance and provision regarding ###'s job and education. The Bible tells us that God will supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
"Lord, we ask that you open the doors of opportunity for ###. Help him to find a job that will not only sustain him financially but also give him a sense of purpose. Help him to see the value of education and give him the strength and will to continue his studies. Lord, we also ask that you help him manage his debts. Give him wisdom and discipline to handle his finances responsibly."
We address the issue of suicide, which is a grave concern. God is the giver of life (Job 1:21), and we are to hold life in high regard. We encourage ### to seek professional help alongside spiritual support.
"Lord, we ask that you give ### the will to live. Help him to see his worth and purpose in your grand design. Surround him with people who will love, support, and point him to you, Lord."
Lastly, we encourage you, ###, to continually pray and declare God's promises over ###. Remember, the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16).
"Lord, we thank you for hearing our prayers. We thank you for being a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We claim victory over this situation in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen."
We encourage you and ### to continually fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust that God will make a way for ###, for he is faithful who promised (Hebrews 10:23).
