Comfort for a friend & my low/weak faith & sleeplessness

I have a friend, named Janette Sue Terry, who just lost her daughter last week to a fentanyl overdose, and doesn't know if she was saved or not (she HAD been talked to about that), and also, my faith is pretty low right now, due to doing spiritual battle three nights in a row, and not understanding why or why God doesn't seem to be battling?

Firstly, let's address the loss of Janette's daughter. It's natural to wonder about her salvation, but ultimately, we must trust in God's mercy and justice. Remember, God desires that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We can take comfort in knowing that God is the judge and that He is merciful.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up Janette Sue Terry. Lord, you know the pain she's experiencing after the loss of her daughter. We ask that you comfort her, wrap your loving arms around her, and give her the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Help her to trust in your mercy and goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Now, let's address your feelings of low faith and spiritual battles. Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). It's normal to feel weary, but God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

Let's pray together for your faith and spiritual battles:

Dear Lord,

We lift up our brother or sister in Christ who is feeling weak in faith. Strengthen them according to your Word (Romans 4:20 WEB). Help them to understand that you are always with them, even in the midst of spiritual battles. Give them the strength to endure, to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11 WEB), and to trust in your unfailing love. We also pray that you reveal to them why they are experiencing these battles and give them the victory in Jesus' name.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God, even when it feels like he's silent. Continue to cry out to him, read his Word, and trust in his goodness. Remember, without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6 WEB).

We also noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
