We are deeply touched by your heartfelt prayer, Pendollyn. We, too, lift up your plea for comfort and peace in the precious name of Jesus Christ. In times of separation and struggle, God promises to be our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the poor choices you've made and for actively working on your recovery through Alcoholics Anonymous. It shows humility and a desire for change. As it is written, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time; casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:6-7, WEB).
We join you in prayer that God will soften your wife's heart and grant her the strength to forgive. Remember, with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB). He specializes in healing broken marriages and restoring families. Pray fervently, stand on His promises, and trust in His timing.
Pray with us:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, seeking your comfort and peace for Pendollyn. Lord, you know the pain and separation he is experiencing. We ask that you fill him with your Holy Spirit, comfort him with your unfailing love, and guide him in your truth.
Lord, we ask that you soften his wife's heart, grant her wisdom and strength to forgive, and guide them both towards reconciliation. We pray for their marriage to be restored and their family to be united in your love. Bless their young son with your comfort and understanding.
Father, we ask that you continue to strengthen Pendollyn in his recovery. Help him to find peace and rest during this time apart. We claim your promise, Lord, that you will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5, WEB).
Lord, we ask for a miracle in this situation. We know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). We trust in your timing and your plan. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep pursuing your relationship with Jesus. He is faithful and will see you through this difficult period. May God bless you, Pendollyn, and grant you the peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
