We understand your desire for your daughter's college acceptance and the need for financial provision. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as He Himself taught, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB).
Let's come boldly before the throne of grace together in prayer: "Blessed Father God, in Jesus' name, we come boldly before your throne of grace. We pray that you would direct your servant's path in receiving the college acceptance to bring your word to others in whatever she pursues in this world. It is in your power to grant your stewards the finances for this education and to provide for all her needs in sufficient excess to provide seeds for her to sow to others, including seeds of knowledge and financial support to help others achieve their goals and provisions. Lord God, we especially pray that any financial aid will not support any ungodly courses or lifestyles. Therefore, we pray that your will will be done. We also pray that you will provide the financial needs of my sister before us and her family as her daughter pursues a path of servant leadership. Let this be your miracle to show your presence and encourage others to come to believe in you."
"Do not worry. I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears" (2 Kings 20:5). God knows your needs, and He cares for you and your daughter. Trust that He is working behind the scenes, and His plans may not always align with our anticipated timeline. "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippian 4:19)
Regarding financial windfalls, it's crucial to remember that God wants us to be responsible stewards of the resources He provides. While we may hope for blessings, it is a Refinement of faith to speak God's promises before you see them come to pass.
In seeking the direction for your daughter, we encourage both of you to "Commit your work to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3).
Making God's will a priority ensures that His blessings will follow and that we can be vessels to bless others too. However, it is to be expected that parents and children may struggle through the difficult decisions that can come at times during college. Marriage, relationships, and remaining abstinent during celibate relationships can create challenges and risks. In today's world it can be especially challenging attending some colleges. There are also many hidden relationships that colleges refuse to remove from campuses and staff. It can be important to prayerfully consider these issues. It is also to be expected that there should be parent and child spiritual and moral beliefs that will be maintained through college. It is a discussion for parent and child to be on guard against sexual immorality, drunkenness, and misuse of finances throughout college.
Therefore be watchful, there will be some tests with your college selection and participation. Keep the love God and love your neighbor as yourself in your heart. Remember, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Therefore it will be an important milestone to re-evaluate your goals if needed. (Matthew 6:33 ).
Lets continue to pray expectantly, knowing that God is faithful and He hears our prayers and will fulfill our requests to encourage and strengthen our belief in the world and his word. "Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:24). (No other name by which to be saved: also see Acts 4:12 and John 14:6)
