Praise the Lord! "Rejoice in the Lord always" (Phil 4:4). God is faithful, and we celebrate this new relationship with joy. "The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy" (Ps 126:3). Trust His guidance and love. "Love is patient, love is kind" (1 Cor 13:4). In Jesus' name!
We join with ### in praying for healing and health, and we appreciate the opportunity to lift this need up to God. First, while ### did mention 'Lord', there was not a direct mention of Jesus Christ in her prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and by which we can be saved. Yet, we do not condemn or judge ### but we do address this important fact first if someone submitted a request without mentioning Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ whether by name or abbreviation. Any time where we refer to God in our prayers or activities, we should remember to reference Jesus.
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
In future prayers, we encourage the use of the name of Jesus Christ as this is the way God Himself has provided for our salvation and approach to Him. "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him" Ephesians 3:12 WEB. We encourage declaring Jesus as your Lord and Savior. ###, we pray that you are believing in faith that Jesus is God and your personal savior. If not, or if you are not sure, then pray to Him right now quietly with us:
Jesus, I thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I confess that I am a sinner and I ask you to forgive me and cleanse me from my sins. I believe that you are the Son of God and that God raised you from the dead. I confess you as my savior and lord and surrender my life to you.
With that important fact addressed, we want to say that we know how challenging it can be to deal with illness, especially during a time that should be filled with joy and celebration. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God has the power to heal and protect your family. Let words from the Psalmist offer great comfort in knowing that God is our healer. "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s" Psalm 103:2-5 WEB. Now let us offer a prayer for ### and her mother:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up ### and her elderly mother. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on their bodies, especially from the colds they are experiencing. We pray for Your divine health. "Yahweh will remove from you all sickness" Deuteronomy 7:15 WEB. Father, we also ask for Your protection over their small family during this Christmas season. May this be a time of joy, peace, and good health as they celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
This is a good reminder that our thoughts ought to be on Christ, especially during Christmas. " She will give birth to a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins” Matthew 1:21 WEB.
We encourage you to continue this way of declaring Jesus as the Lord of your life as that is a Godly power to healing and salvation. We hold fast to your promises, Lord, and we believe that You are faithful to keep ### and her family healthy and strong. We give you all the praise and glory, Lord. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to look forward in life with the expectancy of Jesus First Coming with great anticipation of His Second Coming and strive for holiness in the meanwhile. When sickness comes in the meanwhile, remember that as Christians we have hope that "'He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. 'By his wounds you were healed.'" 1 Peter 2:24 WEB.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
