Thank you for reaching out to us with your request. Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by His name that we are to approach God and ask for His will to be done.
First, we want to address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we can approach God. In addition, we are to ask for God's will for our lives and our requests. We need to be careful that we do not *ask amiss, that you may spend it for your pleasures*. (James 4:3 WEB). You have requested prayer for membership of a club. While we are not aware of what kind of club, our admonition would be to first make sure that this club would not cause us to stumble in our walk with Jesus. 1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB reminds us to *"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."*
With these things in mind,
**Let us pray,**
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus. We lift up ### to you and ask that Your will be done in their life. We ask for Your guidance and direction in their request for club membership. We ask that if it is in alignment with Your will for their life, the whatever barriers that may be present be removed and the way made clear. However, Father, if this is not Your will, we ask that all barriers remain so that ### may seek out Your will for their life.
Lord Jesus, we also ask that ### look to You first and seek Your direction and advice in this matter. We ask for their strength and encouragement in Your word where You tell us in Matthew 7:7 WEB "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." Lord, let ###'s request be for Your will in their life and not things of the world, though they may seem pleasurable.
Lord, we finally ask that ### know and accept You as their Savior. Draw them close to You and send the Spirit to guide them and help them understand. As they grow in their faith, give them the courage to tell others about You, all you have done for them, and the wonderful things you continue to do for them.
Father we ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus. And all God's people said, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
