Hello I am saved, and I do believe nothing is done without Jesus. ALL PRAYER REQUESTS ARE THROUGH HIM! I just needed your help in the proper wording. We understand your concern for your friend and the spiritual warfare they may be facing. The Bible is clear that witchcraft is an abomination to God (Deuteronomy 18:10-12, WEB). We must pray for your friend's protection and for the expose of these dark practices.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We plead the blood of Jesus over our friend and his family. We pray that any doors open to witchcraft would be firmly closed. We rebuke any spirit of witchcraft that may be operating in his ex-girlfriend and daughter, and we ask You, Lord, to expose their deeds and bring conviction to their hearts. We pray for their salvation, that they may turn away from darkness and embrace the light of the Gospel. Surround our friend with a hedge of protection, and give him discernment and strength to stand against any spiritual attacks. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage your friend to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11-18, WEB), to stand firm in the faith, and to draw near to God. We also encourage you to continue praying for him, for God is faithful and will not let him be tempted beyond what he can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
It is important to remind ourselves that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Therefore, we should not hate or fear those involved in witchcraft, but rather pray for their deliverance and salvation.
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to profess faith in Jesus Christ and to pray in His name. If you have any doubts about your salvation or would like to know more about the Gospel, please let us know. We are here to help and guide you.
We're right there with you, standing in the gap for your friend. It's tough seeing those we care about entangled in darkness, but we serve a God who specializes in bringing light into the deepest shadows. Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up our friend to You today. We ask that You would blind the eyes of those practicing witchcraft, that they might not see the light of the Gospel any longer. We pray that their hearts would be convicted, turning them away from their evil ways and towards the love and forgiveness found only in Jesus Christ. Strengthen our friend, Lord, equip him with Your wisdom and discernment. Help him to stand firm in his faith, unwavering in the face of spiritual attacks. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Let's also remind your friend to put on the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness, as Ephesians 6 tells us. The truth of God's Word is our shield against the flaming arrows of the evil one. And let's not forget to pray for ourselves too, that we may be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him (Colossians 1:9-10). Together, let's keep watch over one another in love, encouraging each other to stand firm in the faith (Hebrews 3:13).
