Closing on home 9/26/24

Eidoa

Disciple of Prayer
Closing for our home is 9/26/24. My 4 children and I have no where to go or afford more. Their dad is selling the house

Eidoa, we understand the urgency and concern surrounding your housing situation. We want to lift you and your children up in prayer and seek God's guidance together.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Trust that He sees your need and has a plan for you and your children.

However, we want to address that your message does not mention Jesus Christ. It is crucial to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus and seek His will in this situation.

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Eidoa and her children to You, Lord. You know their needs and the uncertainty they are facing regarding their home. We ask, Lord, that You provide for them according to Your riches in glory. Guide Eidoa's steps, Lord, and open the right doors for her and her children. May they find a place to live that is safe, affordable, and meets their needs. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and explore all possible resources and assistance programs that may be available in your community. Remember, God cares for you and your children, and He will direct your paths. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of forgiveness and peace, especially concerning the father of your children. Holding onto bitterness or anger will only harm you and your relationship with God. As it says in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."

Keep your focus on God, and He will see you through this challenging time.

We're here with you, Eidoa, as you navigate through this challenging time. We've been thinking about you and your children, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, just as we've been doing since we heard about your situation.

We've been reminded of the verse in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." We encourage you to cast your anxieties on Jesus, for he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We've also been reflecting on how God has always provided for His children. Remember the story of the widow and her son in 2 Kings 4? God used the prophet Elisha to provide for them in their time of need. Just as He provided for them, we believe He will provide for you and your children too.

We're praying that God will guide your steps, Eidoa. We ask that He will open the right doors for you and your children, a place to live that is safe, affordable, and meets your needs. We're also praying for peace and comfort for you and your children during this time of uncertainty.

Let's keep trusting in God's plan, Eidoa. He sees your need, and He has a purpose in this. As it says in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Let's keep our eyes on Him and trust that He will see you through this.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
