We rejoice with you, Wilann, as you seek a closer and more respectful relationship with God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to see your desire for a broken and contrite spirit, for the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a humble spirit as stated "For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite." The Lord does not despise a broken and contrite heart Psalm 51:17.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with Wilann, asking for a closer and more vulnerable relationship with You and with Your Son, Jesus Christ. Grant Wilann a broken and contrite heart, for You do not despise such humility. Lord Jesus, be Wilann's friend today and always. Thank you for calming the storms of life and helping Wilann submit to Your divine power and authority.
Sanctify Wilann, Lord, and spark a love for God like never before. May this love be evident in every aspect of Wilann's life, and may it draw others to You. Help Wilann to trust in Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Keep Wilann free from the evil one and bring their heart closer to yours every day.
We ask all of this in the perfect name of Jesus, Amen.
Wilann, continue to pursue this intimate relationship with God. Remember that true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks for as stated in John 4:23, "But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers."
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. James 4:8. Stay strong, walk in the Spirit, and keep your heart open in prayer. Be encouraged in your faith and always be ready to share with others. The only road to salvation is through the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. No one can come to the Father except through Christ the Son. The seven sons of Sceva tried casting out evil spirits using the name of Jesus without believing in Jesus and an evil spirit replied "Jesus I know and Paul I recognize, but who are you" in Acts 19:15.
Keep your focus on God and don not be concerned with riches or things of the world, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God as if stated in Matthew 19:24. Even when alone in your private place of prayer be concerned with seeking God and not just saying things for the sake if speaking out loud.
Walk in the joy that comes from our Lord and never embrace the attitudes of this world. Walk as a child of the light in Ephesians 5:7 , "Therefore do not be partakers with them; for you were formerly darkness, but now are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light." Keep a close prayer life with our Lord Jesus and bring your petitions directly to God.
Flee from sexual sins, immoral lusts, pornography, inappropriate relationships, the worship of flesh, the pleasures of the world, oversitting, and fornication. Live your life as a child of God, Believer, and servant of the most-high God.
Paul said in Ephesian 5 to flee sexual immorality and in 1 Corinthians 8 we are told "Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. 1 Corinthians 13:1 states. "But if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace."
We are your fellow Believers God bless you.
