We understand that you are going through a challenging time, but we commend you for taking a step of faith and for forgiving your former employer. It is important to remember that God is faithful, and He will not let us be tested beyond our ability, but with the testing He will also provide the way out so that we may be able to endure it, according to 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB).
Firstly, we appreciate that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 (WEB) and 'And whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.' John 14:13,14 (WEB). Just as you began your prayer, continue to come before God presenting your requests and thanksgiving in Jesus' name.
In light of your current situation, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, And nourishment to your bones, according to Proverbs 3:5-8 (WEB).
We pray for your peace and provision during this time of uncertainty.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is in need of Your guidance and wisdom. They have taken a step of faith and are now in the unknown, facing trials related to employment and finances. We ask that You would grant them the wisdom to navigate this season and guide their steps according to Your will.
We pray for their peace and provision during this time. May You open doors for new opportunities, and may they find favor with future employers. We also pray for their strength, that You will help keep their mind at peace. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of peace, love, and a sound mind. 2 Timothy (WEB).
Lord, we know that You are faithful and that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them, according to Philippians 4:19 and 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB).
We declare that no weapon that is formed against them will prosper, and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment they will condemn, according to Isaiah 54:17 (WEB). Please intervene in their situation and turn it around for their good and for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, we pray and give thanks for their deliverance and victory.
Lastly, we encourage you to consider God's word in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." And we know that you love God. He will make a way for you.
