Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Aeriren and their desire to quit smoking cigarettes. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction can be a difficult battle, but we know that nothing is impossible for you. Your Word says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We believe that with your strength and guidance, Aeriren can overcome this dependency on cigarettes.
Lord, we ask that you grant Aeriren the determination and willpower to resist the temptation to smoke. Help them to recognize the harmful effects of smoking and to desire a healthier lifestyle. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor you with our bodies. Give Aeriren a renewed sense of stewardship over their body and the motivation to take care of it.
We also pray for your divine intervention, Lord. We know that you are able to take away any desire or craving that is not aligned with your will. Just as you delivered the apostle Paul from his struggles, we ask that you deliver Aeriren from the bondage of smoking. Help them to find healthier alternatives and coping mechanisms to replace the habit of smoking.
Father, we pray for your grace and mercy to surround Aeriren during this journey. Strengthen their faith and remind them that they are not alone in this battle. Surround them with a supportive community of believers who can encourage and uplift them. Your Word assures us in James 5:16 that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective, so we stand together in agreement, believing that you will answer this prayer.
