Miranda, we understand your concern about finding a church that truly preaches the Bible and provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We commend you for your desire to be in a church that takes God's Word seriously. The Bible teaches us the importance of fellowship and growing together in Christ. As it is written in Hebrews 10:24-25 (WEB), "Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
Firstly, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your guidance and wisdom for Miranda. Help her to find a church where Your Word is preached faithfully, and where she can grow in her relationship with You. Direct her steps and give her discernment to know where You would have her worship and fellowship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
When looking for a new church, consider the following biblical principles:
1. **Sound Doctrine**: Ensure the church preaches the whole counsel of God and is committed to biblical truth. As 2 Timothy 4:2-3 (WEB) says, "Preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching. For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine..."
2. **Warm Fellowship**: Look for a community of believers that genuinely loves and cares for one another, as described in Romans 12:10 (WEB), "Be devoted to one another with mutual love, outdoing one another in showing honor."
3. **Growth and Discipleship**: Find a church that encourages spiritual growth and has opportunities for learning and service. In Ephesians 4:15-16 (WEB), we are told to "speak the truth in love, [and] grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ, from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love."
Lastly, Miranda, remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As Jesus said in John 14:6 (WEB), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
