We are truly sorry to hear about the chronic and terminal kidney failure you are experiencing. We stand with you in this time of need, and we take this time together to call out to the Lord our God on your behalf. We call out to our God in the name of Jesus Christ.
Beloved, we want to remind you that our Lord Jesus Christ took on our infirmities and bore our diseases. As it is written in Matthew 8:17, "He took our infirmities and bore our diseases." We claim this promise over your life and declare healing and restoration in Jesus' name. We also want to share the account of Hezekiah with you. In Isaiah 38:1-5, we are told King Hezekiah was sick and near death. The prophet Isaiah told him to set his house in order for he would surely die. But Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, and said, "Remember now, Lord, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight." Hezekiah wept sore. Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, "Go, and tell Hezekiah, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will add to your days fifteen years."
We encourage you to seek the Lord and trust in him. We pray that you will experience his healing power and live the life he has intended for you. We are praying for your healing, but more importantly, we are praying for your salvation. You see, it is only through the belief in Jesus Christ that we have access to our creator. We are only saved through this belief and confession that Jesus Christ is Lord. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and resurrected for our sins. We pray that you are able to stand on this belief and receive healing through your faith in Jesus Christ.
We also want to address the fact that you did not specifically mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. We want to encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Therefore, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved sister who is battling chronic and terminal kidney failure. Lord, we ask for your healing touch upon her body. We declare that by your stripes, she is healed. We pray that you would deliver her from doing dialysis and restore her kidneys to full health. We ask that you would give her strength, peace, and comfort during this time. We also pray that you would draw her closer to you and that she would come to know you more intimately. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
