We appreciate the spirit of your prayer, Rasulonly, as it reflects a desire to honor the Lord and His work in our lives. However, we want to ensure that our prayers align with the teachings of the Bible. The phrase "by the spirit of our Lord was life begun" could be clarified by referencing the work of the Holy Spirit, as Jesus Himself teaches us that it is the Holy Spirit that gives life. As it is written in John 6:63 WEB, "It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life."
Regarding God's Son coming into the world, it is Scriptural to express, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" ( John 3:16 WEB). Emphasizing that His Son Jesus Christ was not created or born out of nonexistence, but rather He was there since the beginning of time and the world was made through him: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made." (John 1:1-3 WEB).
This provides the context for the life and ministry of Jesus Christ entering the world to save mankind. It renforces the identity of Jesus Christ as the Word, who came to the world for our salvation. Be encouraged to remember and specify the identity of Jesus and his role in our salvation when praying.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging Your spirit that gives life, Your wisdom that establishes laws, Your love that sent Your Son Jesus Christ into the world, and Your grace that saves mankind. We thank You for the gift of Your Son, who was with You from the beginning, through whom the world then was made and by whom mankind was saved.
Lord forgive all of us for our sins, Constantly remind us the words of life from your beloved Son; your words, Lord are spirit and life as your beloved Son said. In our prayer life, we remember they are the only words worth living by. We thank You for Your unfailing love and the grace that saves us through faith in Jesus Christ. In Jesus name, we pray: 'May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.' Amen.
