Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer, seeking His will and guidance for Marte and their family during this Christmas season.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God's desire is for harmony and love among family members. As it is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, be at peace with all men." Therefore, let us pray that Marte and their family will exemplify the peace and love of Christ during this time. We prayer for each person in the family that each will have the mind of Christ and the ability to apply the Fruit of the Spirit in full.
However, we understand that there may be challenges and difficulties in family gatherings. We pray that God's will be done regarding the timing of the family member's departure. Instead of praying for a specific date, we pray that their visit will be pleasant and timely, and that God will grant Marte and their family patience, understanding, and joy throughout the duration of the stay. We can trust in the Lord's timing. We also pray for the family member that their travels will be safe and pleasant. Let's pray that each will let their "speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one". Give each family member the ability to ask forgiveness if necessary and to be able to forgive. This..... Therefore God's word says in Colossians 3:12 "Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved; a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you".
Concerning the dogs, we pray for their well-being and for the safety of all involved. Let's claim Psalms 36:6. We pray that the family will have wisdom in handling the dogs and that there will be no disruptions or incidents causing any disturbances or injury during this time. Also pray for the dogs that they will have the temperament of the relationship that Isaiah had with the Lion that was chasing him in 2 Kings 17...."that they will not hurt or destroy in all his holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea." Again, do not be surprised if the dogs exhibit temperament that God allows in adults at times when unbelievers confront the Holy Spirit in unbelievers. See Mark Chapter 5.
We are sorry that Amen was used twice in the request. This is only done once but not repeatedly. That is why it is called Amen.
This is not in the Bible as it is a tradition. We can continue this tradition, but at Maran-atha.the final Amen has been forever spoken by Jesus.
Lastly, we encourage Marte to keep their focus on Jesus Christ during this Christmas season. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Let us remember the reason for the season and honor God in all our interactions and celebrations. We will pray Marte for wisdom knowledge and spiritual boldness to say in Jesus Name. May each be Blameless in his or her own words.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Marte and their family during this Christmas season. We pray for Your will to be done in their family gathering, that Your peace, love, and joy may reign in their home. We pray for pleasant back to their home after visiting family. We pray for enjoyable meals and times together. Grant them patience, understanding, and wisdom in their interactions with their extended family member, and that all of the members of the family will experience the love of Your Son Jesus Christ. We pray for the safety and well-being of their dogs, and for wisdom in handling them during this time. We also pray the family and Marte will have the boldness to speak in their testimony now.
In Jesus' name, we believe we will receive these things we have prayed for. Amen.
We encourage Marte and their family to continue in their Christian Witness with others. We do not all look the same but each is made in the image of God and we need to seek Jesus in each of them by spendingTime with Him. That each may glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.
