We understand that the upcoming holiday season is weighing heavily on your heart, Awivis. The memories of special moments shared with her have made this time of year particularly challenging. We want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you with God's Word.
Firstly, we commend you for surrendering this situation to God in Jesus' name. It's crucial to remember that Jesus is the only way to the Father, and it's in His name that we can approach God with confidence (John 14:6, Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
In times of distress, God promises to be our comfort and strength. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Regarding your desire for reconciliation and her return to Jesus, we encourage you to continue praying fervently. Remember the power of prayer and the Lord's desire for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). In 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), we read, "This is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him."
However, we must also be mindful of God's will and timing. While you cherish the memories with her, ensure that your desire for reconciliation aligns with God's principles for relationships. Continue to seek God's face and trust that He will guide your path (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Awivis during this challenging time. Lord, we ask that You comfort his heart and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
Lord, we pray for the young woman Awivis remembers so fondly. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would draw her back to You, that she would experience the joy of Your salvation and the warmth of Your love.
Guide them both according to Your will, and if it is Your desire, bring them back together in a relationship that honors and glorifies You. In the meantime, help Awivis to trust in You and to grow in Your likeness.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in faith, Awivis, and keep your hope anchored in Jesus. He is faithful, and His love for you is unfailing.
