Thank you for requesting prayer for that Christmas dinner, Thank you for abiding in the name of Jesus Christ. For it is written: 'For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus'. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. 'And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, wherein we must be saved!'

We thank God for your desire to serve a meal that honors Him and blesses others. As it says in Colossians 3:17: Whatever you do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him. Let us pray together.

Dear God Almighty,
We come to you united in the name of Jesus. We ask that Your Holy Spirit guide ellie12 as she prepares and cooks this Christmas dinner and help her to look to Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. This means looking to your guidance for ingredients that enrich healthy eating and proper service. Assist her by having access to all the ingredients she needs. By your grace, help her to finish on time so that nothing burns or spoils.

Dear God, help ellie12 rely on your grace 2 Corinthians 12:9 : Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Father, thank you, for her dearest attention to family and friends and that she honors genuine blessings during this festive time. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
