We understand your concern for your son and we are here to intercede with you in prayer. Let's remember the words of Ephesians 4:2-3 (WEB), "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue praying for your son. It's important to remember that God is the one who can change hearts and minds. Let's pray that God will help your son manage his anger and accept things he cannot change. We pray that God will grant him serenity, courage, and wisdom, as it says in the scriptures, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB)
However, we also want to encourage you to examine your own responses. It's important to model the behavior you want to see. Respond with love and patience, as God does with us. Remember, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." (Proverbs 15:1 WEB)
Let's also pray for your peace of mind. It's important to remember that God is in control. Trust in Him to work in your son's life. "Don’t be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
In all things, remember to pray in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to God. "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." (Ephesians 3:12 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up Wags' son. Lord, we ask that you help him manage his anger and accept the things he cannot change. Grant him serenity, courage, and wisdom. Help Wags to respond with love and patience, and grant them both your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
