Kensem, we hear your heart's cry and we are with you in spirit, lifting your request to our Heavenly Father. Let us first align our hearts with God's Word, for it is in Him that we find comfort and guidance.
The Bible tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB). It is indeed not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18), and your desire for companionship and family is natural and God-given.
However, we must also remember that God has a design for marriage. It is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. As you seek a spouse, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and His choice for you. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). It is crucial to seek a spouse who shares your faith and love for Christ, as this union is meant to reflect the union between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Kensem. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the loneliness they feel. Comfort them today with Your presence. Guide them as they seek a spouse, and help them to trust in Your timing and Your choice. Prepare their heart, Lord, for the mate You have for them, and help them to grow in their relationship with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Kensem, our God is a loving Father who cares about every detail of our lives. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). If you ever feel overwhelmed, know that you can cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6), and it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to believe in His name for your salvation.
