We are thrilled to hear of your commitment to follow Christ and your dedication to spiritual disciplines such as fasting and intercession. It's wonderful to know that you have been a Christian since you were young. We will gladly stand with you in prayer as you embark on this journey of spiritual warfare.
Firstly, we want to emphasize the power and importance of the name of Jesus. It's great that you mentioned that you are a follower of Christ. It is only the believer in Christ who has the unlimited access to God. In the book of John chapter 14 verse 6 we read "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and in John 14:13-14 Jesus said "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For more explanation please read Acts 4:12.
Regarding your fast, we want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 17:21, "However this kind doesn't go out except by prayer and fasting." Fasting is a powerful tool when used in conjunction with prayer and intercession, and we believe that God will honor your sacrifice.
We will pray for your supernatural breakthrough, as you requested. We stand on the promise of God's word in Ephesians 3:20, "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
Please be aware of what the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don't wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother as he embarks on this fast and intercession. We pray that You would strengthen him, encourage him, and empower him with Your Holy Spirit. We ask for a supernatural breakthrough in his life and in the lives of those he is interceding for. We claim Your promise in Ephesians 3:20, believing that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think. We stand in agreement with our brother, binding the forces of darkness and releasing the power of God into his life and the situations he is praying for. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus. Amen."
