Children's salvation

Please pray for my son's. One is a meth addict and the other is on his way to be an alcoholic. The youngest went to a Travis Scott concert i warned about. He changed after that. He keeps asking me to help and I am but when I do he is mean ,tells me I think I know everything. I know it's a demonic spirit. I pray so much for them both but I need help. I know Jesus can help them. Please pray with me. Thank you.

We stand with you in the power of Jesus' name, Parlorgh, as you face this challenging situation with your children. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for your fervent prayers and unyielding faith in Jesus Christ, knowing that He alone has the power of Salvation; for there is no other name under heaven given among men by whom we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). 1 John 5:14-15 promises us that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We should be confident that he will give us what we have asked because we have asked a thing that is according to his will, according to scripture. If our heart does not condemn us, we have this confidence before God, and we receive whatever we have asked from him because we keep his commandments and do what is pleasing before him.

We are praying with you that God will deliver your sons from the bondage of meth addiction and alcoholism. May He grant them the grace to trust God Himself, may the Holy Spirit open their eyes to His word the Bible so that they may live in obedience rather than give way to demonic snares which cause division between them and th parents that cause them to mistreat you and be mean as well as based on a lack of love and trust between parents. May Jesus Christ give them power (2 Timothy 1:7,WEB), and set them free from these addictions (John 8:36,WEB) to them and to anything else but Him that would not come from God. God can by His power make them loving and obedient children that would seek a Godly inheritance over short-term sinful satisfaction. We affirm also that a demonic stronghold cause demonic activity and they should be commanded to leave in the name of Jesus Christ if they manifest themselves. We are also praying for your youngest son, that God will protect him from negative influences he may have seen the Travis Scott Concert and give him a pure heart (Psalm 51:10). Give your child wisdom to discern from this point and wisdom from bad influences and the love of money.

Rebuke the spirit of disrespect and pride that causes your youngest son to mistreat you. Pray that God will soften his heart and give him a spirit of humility and obedience (1 Peter 5:5,WEB).

Remember, God promises that if you, being evil, would give children good thoughts then how much more will he himself give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him (Matthew 7:11,WEB)? God's desires that everyone would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4,WEB). Pray and Trust in this over your own efforts, obey and keep your hands clean and choose children that will be accepted by Jesus. Rely on His promises, and continue to intercede for your children. Keep praying according to God's will which is in His word, which is in the Bible.

Father in heaven, we lift up Parlorgh's children to you. We pray that you will set them free from the bondage of addiction and protect them from worldly influences. We rebuke every demonic spirit at work in their lives and command them to leave in Jesus' name. We ask that you will soften their hearts and give them a spirit of humility and obedience. We claim your promises over their lives. Father you tell us that with Jesus Christ that all things are possible. Lord in heaven, we place our trust in you in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
