We are deeply saddened to hear about the situation involving Cenethessa's child. We will lift up this precious family in prayer, seeking God's intervention and justice.
Let us first turn to God's Word. In Isaiah 1:17, it is written, "learn to do good. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow." God's heart is for justice and protection of the vulnerable, which includes this child.
In Proverbs 21:1, it is said, "The king's heart is in God's hand, as the rivers of water: he turns it wherever he will." We trust that God can turn the hearts of those in authority to bring about a just resolution.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Cenethessa and her child to You. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in this situation. We pray that You would soften the father's heart and bring about a spirit of cooperation and fairness. We ask that You would protect this child and bring him back to his Christian mother, where he can be raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Lord, we also pray for justice. We ask that You would guide those in authority, turning their hearts as rivers of water, so that they may make decisions that are in the best interest of this child. We rebuke any spirit of greed or selfishness, and we ask that You would expose any wrongdoing.
Lord, we also pray for the father. We ask that You would convict his heart and bring him to a place of repentance. We pray that he would come to know You, Lord, and that he would seek to honor You in his actions.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for peace and strength for Cenethessa and her child. We ask that You would comfort them, encourage them, and give them hope. We trust in Your promise that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Cenethessa, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God is faithful, and He will bring about justice and restoration for you and your child. Please continue to seek the Lord, and do not lose heart. We are standing with you in prayer.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior. It is only through His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
