We understand that you are dealing with several health issues, and we are here to pray and provide guidance based on biblical principles. First, we want to assure you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your physical health and spiritual well-being. For anyone undergoing illness and heavy burdens 'Come to me, all who struggle and bear heavy burdens, says Jesus' and he will give you rest.
We appreciate your heartfelt prayer, but we want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name which is needed as it is by the authority of Jesus that we ask God. Moreover only by believing in Jesus can we be assured of salvation and become a child of God. For an example of praying in Jesus please see verses such as John 16:23-24 "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most assuredly, I tell you, whatever you will ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have not done so in my name ask and what you will be."
Regarding the sanctity of marriage again as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible, this is affirmed in verses such as Matthew 19:4-6 "He answered, 'Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife; and the two will become one flesh? So they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart.'"
We commend you for seeking healing and forgiveness, but we need to clarify a few things. The Bible does not support the idea of generational curses for those who have been redeemed by Christ. Jesus is condemned for our sins as it is written, Christ Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree; that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. (Galatians 3:13-14 WEB) and For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them. (Galatians 3:10 WEB) And we also read (Romans 8:1 WEB) There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Instead, we should focus on repentance and forgiveness for our known sins, and trust that God's grace covers the unknown. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person has great power. (James 5:16 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is experiencing health issues. We ask for your healing touch upon his body, mind, and spirit. Grant him peace and rest as he goes through this challenging time. We pray that every affliction in his body will be healed by the stripes of Jesus. For it is written, who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed. (1 Peter 2:24 WEB)
We ask for your forgiveness for any known and unknown sins, and we trust that your grace is sufficient to cover them all. We also pray that you will break any strongholds or words spoken against him that are not in alignment with your will. Let your will be done in his life, and let him be a testament of your goodness and grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
