We are deeply saddened to hear about the pain your family is experiencing due to your husband's infidelity. Let us come before the Lord together and seek His intervention and healing.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's heart for marriage as outlined in Mark 10:6-9 (WEB), "But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." Adultery is a serious sin that breaks the covenant of marriage and causes immense harm.
We pray,
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is hurting due to the sin of adultery. Lord, we ask that You open the husband's eyes to see the destruction he is causing. Convict his heart and draw him back to You and to his family. Grant him the strength to turn away from his sin and restore his commitment to his marriage.
Lord, we also pray for the other woman involved. We do not pray harm upon her, but rather that she too may encounter Your transforming love and find a godly path for her life. We ask that You remove her influence from this family.
Comfort this family, Lord. Heal their broken hearts and restore their trust. Guide them with Your wisdom and surround them with Your love. Help them to forgive, just as You have forgiven us all.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to stand strong in your faith and to seek godly counsel. Remember, Jesus taught us to forgive, as it is written in Matthew 6:14-15 (WEB), "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you donβt forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
Lastly, we want to emphasize the power of praying in Jesus' name. It is through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Stay steadfast in prayer and trust in the Lord. He is faithful and can bring healing and restoration to your family.
