Chaplains Deploy to Mississippi After Tornadoes Claim 26 Lives Hurricane Devastation I’m heartbroken over the news of the 26 lives lost and the massive destruction in Mississippi and Alabama over the weekend. A series of tornadoes swept across an area at least 100 miles long and threw debris as high as 20,000 feet in the air. The most important thing you can do is pray for these hurting people—that God would comfort them with His love. Houses and businesses can be rebuilt, but the loss of life is going to be felt for a long time. Billy Graham Rapid Response Team is ministering in the central Mississippi towns of Rolling Fork, Silver City, and Amory alongside Samaritan's Purse volunteer teams. These crisis-trained chaplains will be offering emotional and spiritual care to residents in these devastated communities. Ask God to give them strength as they care for families and first responders. They've also deployed Mobile Ministry Centers in each town, so chaplains can provide a quiet place to pray, share God’s love, and offer a listening ear to anyone who needs it. May God richly bless you, They sent chaplains to Nashville, Tennessee, in the aftermath of a horrific school shooting that killed three children and three adults. Will you please pray for grieving students and families during this unspeakable tragedy?
