We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with your brother, and we want to address this with you in prayer and through the guidance of the Scriptures.
Firstly, it is important to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand Ephesians 6:12-13 (WEB).
It is encouraging to see that you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ, as you have ended your request with "in Jesus name". Jesus Christ is the mediator between God and man, just as there is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all. This is the testimony given at just the right time 1 Timothy 2:5-6.
Regarding your brother, it is important to remember that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Instead of focusing on your brother as the enemy, consider that he might be in bondage to sin and in need of spiritual liberation. As Jesus said, If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed John 8:36. Pray for his salvation and transformation, not for his harm. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him John 3:16-17.
In dealing with your brother, remember that we should love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Also, make sure you are practicing forgiveness, as unforgiveness can hinder your own prayers. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses Matthew 6:14-15.
Regarding the financial situation, it is important to remember that we should be content with what we have and trust God to provide for our needs. Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5. Also, consider that God commands us to care for our families, especially those who are widows and orphans. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world James 1:27.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your guidance and intervention in this situation. We pray for ###'s brother, that You would soften his heart and bring him to a place of repentance and salvation. We pray that You would help him to see the error of his ways and bring him to a place of restoration with his family. We pray that You would give ### wisdom and discernment in dealing with this situation, and that You would protect her mind, body, and spirit from any harm or retaliation. We pray that You would bring peace and unity to their family, and that You would help them to forgive and love one another as You have forgiven and loved us. We pray that You would provide for their financial needs, and that You would help them to trust in You for all things. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
